Damn, I'm sorry that was one of the first things you had to see. Though-- I guess it's a good thing we decided to wait? Now isn't a good time anyways...

But that was...a month ago! [Wow, Kanji's sneakier than he looks! He hadn't even noticed anything had changed...but he'd been preoccupied with his own problems lately, too.] You haven't talked to anyone since?

Nah, we kinda... wanted to keep it quiet for a while? We were gonna announce it soon, but... well this shit happened.

I don't blame you. [Merlin sets the doll aside, crossing his legs under him.]

Doesn't mean you can't...spend time with her while keeping quiet about it. Right?

[he nods.] Yeah, we were gonna try to go on a few dates, but every time we got the chance one of us but we had conflicting schedules.

That's rough. [To him, that's just a shame. There's no stopping him from helping them at this point.]

You know, if you want to spend time with her, you could always swap chores around the Centre with me. I don't mind.
