[While Kanji is busy sewing more poké-accessories Chiffon the Snubbull decided that now was the best time to steal Kanji's gear. It's pretty obvious that Chiffon is in the bathroom and the only thing that's clearly visible is the toilet. Welp... it was nice knowing you cruel world!!!-- but before Chiffon could successfully drop it in, he slips, and lands in the toilet instead.

The gear is facing up in between the toilet and the sink by this time.]

Shnuh-Shnuh!

What the-- Chiffon? Where'd you go... Chiff--ffffft. Man, looks like you got yourself into some kind of trouble. What in the hell were you doing in here anyways? [With that said and done, Kanji walks over to the toilet and grabs said pokémon and gear and then walks over to the sink. He places the gear on the soap dish and goes about cleaning Chiffon. In between scrubs he pauses and stops as he looks at his reflection in the mirror.]

What in the-- jeez! How did I let this get so bad? Unless I can find some bleach in a store here I guess I'll have to wear my breeders bandana until I get back to Goldenrod.

I'm surprised at the way items are spread out for purchase. I wonder if the natives just use mail order for everything?

I think they do? I'm not sure how many of the natives travel on foot, but if they don't I'm sure they find a way to get stuff...

The flying pokemon certainly seem to make things considerably easier.

Yeah-- I somehow was able to get back the Pidgeot I got from the last time I was here, and man, they're pretty sweet. Too bad it doesn't remember fly. We coulda flown back to Goldenrod and be there by now.

I don't mind the travel too much, aside from the small inconveniences. Particularly since I'm not doing it alone.

Oh yeah. Traveling with someone is better than doing it by yourself.

[a little smile, then] Exactly. [does she sound a little fond? is it your imagination?] I'm glad I'm doing it with someone I'm friends with.

[he gapes for a few moments before snapping out of it and nods his head.] Y-Yeah! I know what ya mean. I traveled by myself to Cherrygrove, but then waited when Yosuke-senpai showed up.

You must know the trail well by now, if you've traveled it multiple times.

I'm glad that the trails are linear, for the most part-- they're easy to remember, if you don't get turned around.

Yeah. And there are a ton of trainers out and about so if you do get lost you can just ask one of them. Though they might want to challenge you to a battle first...

I always feel like it's a bit unfair when they challenge me to a battle and I'm using Pokemon at a level far higher than they anticipated.

Oh yeah... you got yours right away. [a pause.] I had to wait a little to get Marilyn and Jessica.

Yes, I only had to wait until I met up with you and got to the first town, really. I've been somewhat lax about catching any others, I admit.

[he nods.] It's understandable! One hit from them and that'd knock any wild pokémon out like that [and he snaps his finger for emphasis.]

Exactly. I'm waiting for a Pokemon that catches the eye of my team more than anything else.

Yeah, that's what I'm doin'! That and you can only carry so much in your party.

Yes, I remember hearing about the limits. It seems like it would be hard on Pokemon to be placed in storage for very long.

Yeah. I dunno how senpai does it.

Does he have many Pokemon in storage? [a little curiously; she hasn't talked as in depth with the other members of the Investigation Team, comparatively, and the status of most of their teams are largely foreign to her.]

[he nods.] Yup, he's got a lot on his hands. But he somehow finds a way to manage.
