[He looks down at Kanji, holding a hand out to reveal a tarot card - The Fool, just as expected.]

What do you think your doing? Protecting my honor? Or feeding your own foolish pride?! It won't work - you can't accept me, and you won't defeat me with that kind of insolence!

[He crushes the card and... doesn't the Persona that appears look like Adachi's? Now... why would they both have Magatsu-Izanagi? And why wouldn't Souji just have a normal Shadow form? Hm....]

[Kanji jumps back slightly and gets into position to try summoning his persona--IF THAT SHADOW FREAK CAN DO IT THEN SO CAN HE. But right as he's about to he stops and blinks.]

That's the... persona that Adachi-bastard had!! How the hell do you have it now?!

[It's as of he's implying that Adachi summoning without his shadow would have produced a regular Izanagi... whaaaaaaaaat?]

[Wordlessly, he looks at Magatsu Izanagi and it uses Heat Riser.]
